Cooking

Choose from the cabin kitchen, the outdoor swivel park grill, or cooking over the stone fire pit.

Kitchen is newly renovated with butcher block counter tops, plenty of storage space and fully equipped & applianced with the following:

  • Refrigerator, Electric Oven & Range, Toaster, Microwave, Hot Pot, Rice Cooker

  • Refrigerator w/freezer, Dishwasher

  • Variety of Cooking Utensils, Pots & Pans, Mixing Bowls, Baking Sheets, Cast Irons & More

  • Coffee Maker, Coffee Grinder, Pour Over Cup & Filters

  • Basics like S&P, Oil, Vinegar, Coffee, Tea, Creamer & Sugar Provided

    Tower has a small Fridge for Drinks, plug in as needed.

Sleeping

The Cabin has the following sleeping arrangements available:

Loft - Full size bed reachable by using the stairs with handrails

Main Floor - Double Twin Daybed Trundle (does not pop up)

Extra - Twin blow up and or a Coleman cot suitable for a child.

The Tower has a queen bed and a long custom built-in couch along a wall that can accommodate 2 additional people.

Blankets, Pillows, & Linens are available for all sleeping arrangements.

Tents and Pull Behinds/Pop Ups are welcome at the Retreat.

Bathing

A private renovated traditional bathroom that is equipped with a walk in shower, Kohler flush toilet, and sink will be stocked with essentials and towels for your stay plus the following:

  • Iron and Small Ironing Board

  • Hair Dryer

  • Make Up Mirror - Lit & Magnified

  • Clothes Drying Rack

There is a traditional wooden clean Outhouse on the property to be used at any time.

Enjoyment

Board games & cards are in the Cabin, outside you may enjoy playing corn hole, there is plenty of room for field games. Frisbees are in the game drawer.

Wood and kindling is included in your stay for use in the firepit.

Guests are welcome to visit the farm’s 350 acres, with numerous trails, swimming holes, catch release bass, and many open vistas to enjoy. We, the builder/owner and manager are only 4 miles away.

Utilities

The Cabin has buried fiber optic internet service, free high speed wireless internet is available for your stay. At this time it does not reach the Tower, however, many guests find that they have data service in the Tower.

The Retreat is fully electrified with plenty of lighting options for both structures. Baseboard heating is the main source of heat in the Cabin and Tower. New double hung windows with screens have just been installed for comfort and uniterupted viewing.
